The newly renovated Wyndham Hunt Valley Inn is one the east coasts premiere convention hotels. The hotel sells out in advance earlier every year, so be sure to book your rooms early when they get announced here on our site.

DO I COME IN COSTUME?
Yes, you may come in costume, but it is not required. FaerieCon is famous for its fabulous fantasy and faerie costumes, of all types from all realms.  It’s a great way to spark conversations, meet people, and feel like you’re a part of the event. You might even want to enter our costume contest! The Masquerade Balls are the highlight of the weekend.

ARE THERE VENDORS?
We are proud to offer what is said to her the best fantasy shopping experience of the season, featuring over 70 internationally recognized artists, craftspeople, apparel, jewelry and all of the highest quality.We’re very discerning about vendors at FaerieCon, and it shows! Hand-crafted items, amazing art, and true skill is on display everywhere you look. It’s also a great way to meet the people who make these beautiful wares, and discover more about the FaerieCon aesthetic.

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
Yes – There are many activities that children will enjoy at FaerieCon from the Marketplace, live music performances, the Fashion Show and Costume Contest to meeting our guest authors and artists. Please be advised that alcohol is served at the two Masquerade Balls.

WHAT’S INCLUDED WITH MY PASSPORT?
Admission to all Day Programming, the Motrthic Marketplace and two Masquerade Balls and the Acoustic Concert. This year we will have four different rooms running faerie and fantasy themed panels and presentations that highlight the many talented guests we have attending.

WHAT ARE THE MASQUERADES?
Whether you’re a good faerie or a bad faerie, our balls on Friday and Saturday night are packed with amazing music, floor-shaking dancing, and as much merriment as you could hope for! We always have something special in store for you when it comes to music, and this year is no different.

WHAT ABOUT THE FAERIE WORKSHOPS?
These are small group, intimate workshops taught by our special guests who offer a “deep dive” into their specific area of expertise. These workshops are very limited and require an addition fee for admission. Please watch for our announcement of the workshop schedule.
